This week — the space between Christmas Eve and Christmas — can arrive softly.
Not with urgency.
Not with demands.
But with twinkle lights, familiar music, and a longing to simply be.
Before the gifts are opened.
Before the tables are cleared.
Before the world asks anything of you again.
Let’s pause here together.

✦PAUSE · A Sacred Stillness
Imagine this moment:
You’re sitting near the Christmas tree.
The lights are glowing low.
You’re holding a cup of coffee or hot cocoa — warmth in your hands.
Nothing needs to be accomplished right now.
Nothing needs to be fixed or finished.
Just you, the quiet, and the beauty of this season.
For me, the beauty of this season often looks like a quiet, cozy moment.
I’m sitting by my Christmas tree, wrapped in a blanket, with no technology nearby — just taking in the lights and ornaments. The tree is decorated in pink and white, glittery and a little disco, both joyful and peaceful.
When I look at it, I think of my mom. After she passed, I received all of her Christmas ornaments, and I’m so grateful I did. Some are glass ornaments I gave her during the last years of her life. Others are ones she chose herself — pears and apples, sparkling stars, soft pink ribbon.
Over the past eight years, I’ve added my own touches: pink disco balls and larger glitter ornaments. But even now, the tree still feels like her. It holds her presence, her taste, her beauty.
I let myself take it all in — the past, the present — and when I feel the moment slipping by, I choose to stay. I let it last a few minutes longer. And in that small way, I make space for the season to meet me right where I am.
What does it feel like to let yourself linger here a little longer?

✦ SEE – Even in the hardest hours, days, and years, there is still good to be found.
It doesn’t erase the pain or the heaviness — it exists alongside it – life is an &.
Maybe you’ve seen it in: unexpected kindness, moments of laughter, steady love that showed up when you needed it most.
Seeing the good is not about pretending everything is okay. It’s about noticing where light still breaks through the darkness.
What is one good thing you’ve witnessed this season, no matter how small?
✦BREATHE · Making Space

After I pause long enough to really see it — the lights, the memories, the love still present — I don’t rush to move on.
I let it stay with me.
The smell of pine. The crunch of snow beneath my feet. The first sip of coffee.
I make space for what I’ve noticed: the warmth, the gratitude, the ache, the joy — all of it together.
I don’t try to fix the feeling or explain it away.
I simply stay present with it, just a little longer.
This is the quiet bridge between noticing and becoming —
where what we see is gently held, and allowed to shape us.

✦ GROW – As the year comes to a close, growth doesn’t require big resolutions or bold declarations.
Sometimes growth looks like learning to love something about yourself that you hadn’t before.
It might be:
– your resilience
– your softness
– your patience
– your courage to keep going
– your willingness to rest
Take a moment to acknowledge that part of you.
What is one thing about yourself you can appreciate — maybe more than you did before? From Stacy: As this Christmas week unfolds, may you feel warmth, peace, and permission to move at your own pace.
And if you find yourself longing for space to reflect, reconnect, or begin the next season with intention, Brisalo is here to walk with you – no pressure, just presence.

Recently, a client shared this with me after discovering her CliftonStrengths – Positivity, Includer, Connectedness, Consistency, and Developer:
“What I always thought I believed turned out to be who I truly am. This experience changed my life. Thank you for helping me recognize my core values-I’m grateful from the bottom of my heart.”
Moments like this are why I do what I do. There is something powerful about having language for who you already are-and permission to live it fully.
